Kelly's Personal Reviews

These are items that I use and that I like..

Fekkai sheer hold Hair spray
it does not smell like alcohol, does not leave
your hair stiff, you can still comb it afterwards and definetly you will not have those white particles of residue when it dryes up.

Urban Decay eye shadow Primer
smooth this primer all over your eye lid before your eye shadow and you will have no ugly creases afterwards. I have oily skin and it works for me.

Urban Decay eye liner-Black -ZERO
very creamy, glides easily, perfect for smudging and for smoky eyes look.

Bare Minerals
like I mentioned I have oily skin and this line of product worked for me. I would not apply a whole lot but just enough to even up my complexion. My skin looks natural and not as oily as it looks when I use non mineral make up.

Vaseline-cocoa butter- VITALIZING GEL BODY OIL
perfect for those outdoor summer nights. It will leave your skin smooth and with a beautiful glow. DO NOT PUT ALOT OF IT because you will look like candy. It is clear colored so it won't stain.

USES OF ALOE VERA

Aloe vera is a miracle drug of nature that helps in curing many ailments and diseases. It has been used for centuries in helping heal burns, bruises and cuts. Diabetics benefit greatly from aloe vera when used to cure any topical burns they get from their diseases. Besides being used as a medicinal plant, it has many cosmetic benefits in providing for skin care.
Another use of aloe vera is as an effective pain killer. The acid found in the Aloe Vera plant helps to fight pain. Aloe vera is also known to produce about six different types of antiseptics that help kill many viruses causing diseases, molds, bacteria and funguses. In fact, since aloe vera is used in skin care, many people use it to treat acne and to help with skin blemishes. Another unexpected, but great use of aloe vera is its usage to treat baldness. It is generally used for treating burns, cuts and bruises.
Many people use aloe vera as a beauty restoring agent too. It is interesting to learn that when using aloe for burns and cuts, you tend to get a soothing feeling on contact as the fatty acids in the aloe vera tend to interact with the burn to kill harmful bacteria. In addition to this, Aloe Vera helps in expelling worms, heals blisters, headaches, coughs, works as a purgative and is effective in curing cough.
Though there are over 240 different types of aloe, only four of them are used for their nutritional value. Aloe vera is so useful, that you find about 75 nutrients, 200 active compounds, 18 amino acids, 12 vitamins and 20 minerals in a single leaf of aloe vera. The aloe vera plant resembles desert lilies and is used in numerous products like skin lotions, moisturizers, sun screen creams and burn gels.
An important use of aloe vera lies in the rapid reduction of the burning sensation of any kinds of burns. This is why it is quite useful and effective to immediately apply Aloe Vera gel in any type of burns. It helps in reducing the pain of the burn and also helps in rapid healing of the wound. Aloe vera is also very effective in offering protection against sunburns as it offers the skin protection against the ultraviolet rays of the sun.
Another use of aloe vera lies in its action in relieving digestive problems. It offers great comfort to those suffering from irritable bowel syndrome, heartburn, ulcers and even indigestion. It is very effective in treating constipation too. However as it is a strong laxative, aloe vera juice or gel has to be mixed with a fruit juice to act as a safe, and effective laxative. Aloe vera works as a mild anesthetic and is quite effective in providing relief from swelling, pain and itching. This is because aloe vera has the capacity of increasing the flow of blood to the area of a wound, and in the process, enhances fibroblasts.
It is an undisputable fact that there are many health and cosmetic uses of aloe vera. And this is the reason why it is necessary to have a bottle of aloe vera juice handy to provide relief from health and cosmetic problems.
